Mount Morris Man Pleads Guilty to Running Cocaine Trafficking Organization

A man has pleaded guilty to charges he led a cocaine trafficking organization in his hometown of Mount Morris.

Federal prosecutors say Carlos Garcia Rivero supplied powder and crack cocaine to street-level dealers.

He was arrested last February as he arrived from Colombia at JFK airport. Authorities found a pound of cocaine in his basement on Chapel Street.

He will be sentenced in May.
