There's some positive news about the spread of the flu virus in New York.
The latest report from the Department of Health says there were 14-thousand confirmed cases of the virus in the week ending last Saturday.
That's a 17 percent drop from the week before.
The number of people hospitalized due to complications of the flu was down 23 percent.
