The Monroe County Legislator who called last week for the repeal of a controversial law she sponsored, is the endorsed Republican candidate for County Clerk.
Karla Boyce admitted last week that the law against harassing first responders was a bad idea and she said she would support its repeal.
Boyce became the part's designated candidate for clerk on Saturday. The current clerk is Democrat Jamie Romeo, and she may face a primary challenge in June.
