Rochester Woman Arrested In Hit And Run Involving Patrol Car

A Rochester woman has been arrested after police she T-boned a marked police patrol car with her minivan, then tried to get away.

It happened Wednesday at the intersection of Genesee Street and Frost Avenue.

Police say Shameika McCoy ran the red light, hit the police car, drove to Lennox Street and led police on a foot chase.

The officer was treated at the hospital and released.

McCoy was found hiding in a backyard. The charges include DWI, leaving the scene, and driving without a license.
