Federal and local officials are planning a news conference today at 11am at the Rochester Airport to discuss the need for travelers to get a REAL ID-compliant driver's license.
Starting on October first, the federal government will require people to have a compliant license, permit or ID card before boarding a domestic flight.
You can get a REAL ID at any time, but you will need to go to a DMV Office.
Transportation Security officials are advising you act before the October deadline.
