Fire Displaces Three Adults, Five Children

The Red Cross is assisting three adults and five children left homeless by a fire at a two-family home on Rochester's northeast side.

The fire broke out at 494 Grand Avenue.

It spread from a second floor bedroom into the attic.

The residents of both apartments are OK, and the fire was brought under control in 20 minutes.

Firefighters believe an electrical issue caused the fire.
