Governor Cuomo is expected to sign a package of bills today aimed at improving limousine safety.
Lawmakers recently approved several pieces of legislation, including a measure requiring there to be enough seat belts in a limo for all passengers to use.
The state will also have the authority to remove potentially dangerous limos from the road.
A hotline, app and website will also be created for people who want to express concerns about limousines or other for-hire vehicles.
Today's bill signing comes more than a year after a limo crash in Schoharie killed 20 people.
