RCSD School Board Meets Following Report by State Comptroller's Office

The Rochester school board meets this evening for the first time since a report from the state Comptroller's Office found that the district budget deficit is bigger than thought.

The report says the district will need to cut the current budget by another $40 million before the end of the school year.

But Superintendent Terry Dade says those numbers are old. The district is in line to get $25 million in additional state aid when the state budget is approved in April.

The meeting starts at 5:30 at Central Office.
