An investigation is underway in Greece after police say a student at Autumn Lane Elementary School was taken by force by a parent who authorities say doesn’t have custodial rights.
Greece Police say they got a 911 call shortly before noon about a man who had gone to the school and took his son from a dismissal area in the building, without permission. Police say representatives from CPS had ordered that the child remain in their custody and they had tried, along with the school principal, to intervene but the father refused to comply. The man also had a two-year-old child with him at the time.
Police say they are attempting to locate the children and the father. The investigation is ongoing.
