A man who was convicted of murdering a four-year-old in 1993 has again been denied parole.
Eric Smith has been turned down ten times before. He was just 13 when he was convicted of luring Derrick Robie into the woods outside the Village of Savona in Steuben County, then beating the child to death. He was sentenced to life in prison.
Now 39, Smith will next be eligible for a parole hearing in 2021.
