Man Sentenced In String Of Armed Robberies

The sentence is nine years in prison for a man convicted in six armed robberies over several weeks about a year ago.

Lavon Wims allegedly robbed a McDonalds in Rochester, and five area convenience stores and gas stations -- using a knife or a BB gun to threaten employees.

He pleaded guilty in September.

Co-defendant Malik Lott,was previously sentenced to five years in prison for some of the robberies.
