Assemblyman William Barclay Elected Assembly Minority Leader

Republicans are officially electing William Barclay as their new Assembly minority leader.

The Central New York Assemblyman has been serving as Deputy Minority Leader.

He replaces Assemblyman Brian Kolb, who stepped down from his leadership post last week after being arrested for DWI on New Year's Eve.

Barclay was first elected to the Assembly in 2002, and lives in Pulaski with his wife and two sons.
