White Deer Public Tours End After Two Years

The nonprofit organization that advocates for the white deer herd at the former Seneca Army Depot has ended public tours there.

The tours ended yesterday, a little more than two years after they began.

The head of Seneca White Deer, Incorporated, says the expenses were exceeding revenues and donations.

In all, about 16,000 visitors took the tour.
