Fire officials have yet to release the name of the women killed in a Christmas Eve afternoon fire at a Rochester apartment tower.
The fire went to two alarms around 2:30 at the Pinnacle Place apartments on South Clinton Avenue.
The woman was found inside the burning apartment on the fifth floor and could not be revived.
Two people were overcome by smoke and were transported to the hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
