The Rochester Metro Area unemployment rate is essentially unchanged over last year.
The New York State Department of Labor says Rochester's jobless rate was 3.7 percent last month...a fraction of a point higher than the 3.5 percent of a year ago.
The state says more than 8.3 million New Yorkers are now working in private-sector jobs...and the statewide unemployment rate remains steady at four percent.
