Some State Lawmakers Calling for Delay to Bail Reform

Republicans in the state legislature are making a list ditch attempt at changing or delaying the bail reform law that will take effect on January 1.

They are asking Democrats in the majority to convene a special legislative session before the end of the year.

Some district attorneys from both parties -- as well as county sheriffs -- have come out against the law.

Hundreds of people awaiting trial will be set free come January 1.
