The Rochester teacher who overdosed at Franklin High School and was arrested last week had two prior drug-related arrests in the last four months.
News10NBC reports special education teacher Tracy Lewis was arrested by Irondequoit police in August and by state troopers in September.
All three arrests involve possession of a controlled substance.
The school district told the station it was not aware of the prior arrests and Lewis is now on an indefinite leave of absence.
When she overdosed last week, Rochester police found her with 13 bags of fentanyl.
