The Penfield Town Board has approved a conditional use permit and the site plan for an apartment complex planned for the Irondequoit Bay waterfront.
It would be built by the Daniele Family along Empire Boulevard, at the site of their now-closed Mario's Homemade Past Kitchen restaurant.
In order to win board approval, the developers reduced the size of the complex by 12 units.
The proposal includes underground and outdoor parking.
