Rochester Man Found Guilty of Armed Robbery

A 28-year-old Rochester man has been found guilty of first degree robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property after he held another man up at gunpoint outside a bank branch in the city.

The District Attorney's Office says Thomas Howard stole the victim's wallet, phone and keys. Police identified a suspect vehicle, and the next day that car led them on a high-speed chase in Rochester. Howard was arrested with the help of a K9 unit.

He'll be sentenced on January 27th.
