Person of Interest in Brittanee Drexel Disappearance Sentenced for Robbery

The man named as a person of interest in the 2009 disappearance of Chili teenager Brittanee Drexel has been sentenced in South Carolina to time served and 3 years' probation for an unrelated crime.

Timothy Da'Shaun Taylor pleaded guilty to a federal armed robbery charge stemming from a robbery at a fast food restaurant in 2011.

He was already in prison on state charges for that robbery when he was indicted on federal charges in 2016. At the same time, the FBI revealed a jailhouse informant told them Taylor abducted Drexel and she was killed.

She disappeared during a Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach. Her remains have never been found.
