The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says they've solved the case of the stolen toys from the Pirate Toy Box at Eastview Mall.
With help from the Ottawa Police Department in Canada, the Canadian family that took the toys was located and it was determined they thought the toys were free for the taking. The family has apologized and made a donation to the Pirate Toy Fund.
