The State Transportation Department says a stretch of I-390 south of 490 is closing until noon for utility line work.
Rochester Gas and Electric is replacing overhead power lines above the highway. The closure is between Brooks and Chili Avenues, both ways. Detours are by Buell Road. Traffic heading for the airport can expect delays.
