Another Candidate Enters Race for Open Seat in 27th Congressional District

Another candidate has officially entered the race for the open seat in the 27th Congressional District.

Democrat Melodie Baker is seeking the seat left open by the resignation of Republican Chris Collins.

Baker is competing for her party's nomination with Nate McMurray, who narrowly lost to Collins in 2018.

A date for the special election hasn't been announced.

Collins pleaded guilty in October to federal insider trading charges.
