The parent company of the A.C. Moore craft store chain is closing all its stores around the country -- including the Rochester area store on Hylan Drive in Henrietta.
There are 145 A.C. Moore stores nationwide.
The company says in a statement the headwinds facing many retailers have made it difficult to compete.
The competing Michaels chain will assume the leases of up to 40 of the A.C. Moore stores.
