Second Indictment Against Former Housing Authority Chair

The former Chairman of the Rochester Housing Authority...George Moses...has been charged with numerous federal crimes in a second superseding indictment.

Moses is charged with identity theft, filing false tax returns, wire fraud and federal program fraud. Janis White is charged with conspiracy and obstructing justice.

Moses was charged last month with making false statements to the FBI and wire fraud. The new indictment includes those charges and adds to them. Federal prosecutors say Moses was involved in various schemes to defraud the Rochester Housing Charities and Quad A for Kids. That conspiracy involved former City Councilman Adam McFadden, who for a time was the Housing Authority's executive director.
