A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a man on charges for the stabbing death last month of a woman at her home on Oakdale Drive in Webster.
Piero Scala has been indicted on charges of second degree murder and criminal possession of stolen property in connection with the death of 56-year-old Cathy O'Brien.
Scala was arrested at his home last month without incident.
Authorities had said that Scala and O'Brien knew each other.
Court papers say O'Brien was stabbed several times October 7. Her body was found two days later when police went to check on her.
