Some students and parents in the Gates-Chili High School are calling for the reinstatement of the boys basketball coach.
Coach Terry Nowden and members of his staff have been removed.
The district says it learned last week about unprofessional behavior and an unauthorized guest during a recent team trip.
Nowden tells 13WHAM he and the other adults were fired for having a beer during the team bonding trip to a Cleveland Browns game.
Those present included his older brother, who was fired as coach in 2012 for an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Nowden says he was never told his brother couldn't go.
