NY-27 Special Election May Be Same Day As Presidential Primary

Governor Cuomo is leaning toward scheduling the special election in the 27th Congressional District for April.

The seat has been empty since October first, when Republican Chris Collins resigned and pleaded guilty to insider trading charges.

Cuomo is looking at setting the election for April 28th -- the same day as the state's presidential primary.

He says whe wants to hold the vote on a day when turnout will be high.
