Guilty Plea Entered For Memorial Day Weekend Manslaughter

There is a guilty plea in a beating that killed a woman on Rochester's west side.

Twenty-five-year-old Jonathan Morales pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Kirstie Slingerland on Memorial Day weekend.

Her body was left in an empty building on Orchard Street, near Lyell Avenue.

Morales was arrested later in Florida.

Morales is expected to be sentenced on November 20th to 20 years in prison.
