A lawsuit has been filed against the Democrat and Chronicle under NY's Child Victim's Act.
The plaintiff accuses Jack Lazeroff -- who worked as a district manager and supervised the newspaper delivery routes -- of sexually abusing him when he worked as a paper delivery boy.
The plaintiff says the abuse occured in the early 1980's when he was 11 or 12 years old.
Lazeroff was ultimately fired from the D&C and was arrested and charged with second degree sexual abuse in Monroe County in 1988.
The lawsuit claims that the D&C knew of should have known about the alleged abuse and failed to supervise Lazeroff.
