New York State Begins Early Voting

Early voting is coming to New York State this fall, beginning on Saturday, October 26th. It will run through Sunday, November third, in a move designed to increase voter turnout by making it more convenient to vote.

Another major change is coming to the way we vote this year. The traditional poll books where the inspector looks you up and you sign your name before voting are being replaced with Electronic Poll Books, putting the information on a screen.

Early voting will be at seven locations around Monroe County: The Greece Town Hall, Ogden Town Hall, the MCC Downtown Campus by the Kodak Office Tower, Penfield Town Hall, Marketplace Mall, SUNY Empire State College on Westfall Road and the Ridge Culver Plaza.
