Officer In Peck Street Stabbing Transferred to Rehab

The Rochester Police Officer who was punched and stabbed in the face is out of the hospital and has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility.

Officer Denny Wright was wounded in the attack during a domestic call October 4 on Peck Street.

The RPD says it is "grateful for all the continued prayers, well wishes, and support" for Wright, his family and his colleagues.

Suspect Keith Williams is charged with aggravated assault on an officer and aggravated attempted murder.
