Dinolfo Signs "Bryce's Law"

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has signed the county's new regulations for grease trap covers. The law is called Bryce's Law, and is named for Bryce Raynor, the boy who died this summer when he fell into a grease trap behind a Rochester donut shop.

The regulations call for food service businesses to make sure the grease trap covers are properly secured and are heavy enough to prevent unauthorized access. The County will make annual inspections.

Dinolfo says nothing can heal the Raynor family's anguish but they can at least make sure this never happens to another child.
