New York State Comptroller to Audit RCSD Finances

New York State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli is reportedly going to audit the finances at the Rochester City School District.

Dinapoli's office is scheduling an audit with district officials to figure out why the district had a shortfall in the fiscal year that ended in June.

That audit is expected to start in early October.

The amount of the shortfall has not been determined, but some reports say it could approach $50 million.
