Fatality In Penfield Car Crash Identified

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is identifying the driver killed in a two car crash in Penfield early yesterday morning.

Authorities say 31-year-old Michael Hanna was driving on Route 441 when he crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming vehicle.

The other driver was taken to Strong with non-life-threatening injuries.

MCSO is investigating whether drugs/alcohol were contributing factors and is awaiting toxicology reports from the Monroe County Medical Examiner.

Hanna was the son of Perinton Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna.
