New Brighton Police Chief Named

We now know who the next police chief of the Brighton Police Department will be. Town Supervisor Bill Moehle announced that Captain David Catholdi has been named to the post. Catholdi has more than 20 years' experience with the Brighton PD, coming up through the ranks.

He takes over for Chief Mark Henderson who is retiring next week. Henderson has been with the police department for 33 years and became chief in 2010.

Henderson has been named director of security for the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester.
