There is no word yet from Rochester police on the name of the man who was killed crossing Monroe Avenue over the weekend.
The man was struck Saturday night, near Oxford Street, and died at the hospital.
The driver told police there was no time to react when the man stepped into the road.
Police say the driver was not under the influence. They are looking at video from security cameras and talking to eyewitnesses.
