East High junior Seven McGee won't be in action for tonight's football game at home against Irondequoit.
East High Superintendent Shaun Nelms says Section V is still reviewing McGee's appeal and won't rule until early next week.
He is seeking a hardship waiver of the transfer rule so he can play this season. It was previously denied because his former school in California has not provided documentation needed for the waiver.
McGee is considered the best high school running back in New York state.
