Police Arrest Two People Accused of Damaging House/Car While Pet Sitting

Police have arrested two people hired to be house/pet sitters in Rochester. Chelsea Cooke, 29, of Irondequoit, and Anthony Altamura, 26, of Kent are accused of stealing more than $12,000 worth of belongings. They allegedly stole wedding rings and other jewelry, which were recovered from pawn shops. The couple allegedly caused between $12,000-$15,000 in damage to the home and $560 to fix a damaged car.
