A state commission that's been looking at how to strengthen the Lake Ontario shoreline is about to submit its recommendations to the Cuomo administration.
Governor Cuomo announced the Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative this spring.
The state is pledging up to $300 million for local projects in communities along the lake.
Town governments were asked to submit their proposals by Labor Day. Funding could be awarded within a month.
