The International Joint Commission has named one of its biggest critics to serve on the International Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Board.
The IJC says Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich is one of two new members being added to the board, one from the U.S. and one from Canada. Both come from areas that have been hit by flooding from Lake Ontario and the Saint Lawrence from this year's record-high water levels.
Reilich has been among critics blaming the IJC's Plan 2014 for the flooding. The Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence Board is the one that determines how much water to release from Ontario down the St. Lawrence River.
