Monroe County sheriff's deputies are investigating similar thefts, a few hours apart yesterday, at two area car wash businesses.
Someone took a coin box from a car wash machine Wednesday morning at Top Notch Car Wash in Hamlin. A few hours later, five coin boxes were taken from the Classy Chassy Car Wash in Sweden.
Two people were caught on camera at each crime scene.
