The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is identifying the teenager who fell through a skylight at Bay Trail Middle School earlier this month.
Authorities say 18-year-old William Laing of Penfield was seriously hurt in the fall. He was last listed in guarded condition at the hospital.
Deputies were called to the school August 15th, and found one teen on the roof who told them his friend had fallen through a sky light. Laing had fallen approximately 28 feet to the gym floor below.
The sheriff's office says the investigation remains open and ongoing.
