Federal officials are hunting for two murder suspects who managed to escape while being extradited from our area to Arizona
The suspects were arrested in Henrietta this spring and escaped in Utah.
Tucson police say Blane and Susan Barksdale overpowered two security officers in Blanding.
The Barksdale’s were wanted by Tucson Police for the murder of a 72 year old man in April.
They were arrested in Henrietta in May when a deputy spotted their RV parked in a parking lot.
The Barksdale's were transferred to the custody of Security Transport Services for extradition to Arizona last week.
Authorities say the two are considered armed and dangerous.
