Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza have announced extended "back to school" hours for the county's immunization clinic at 111 Westfall Road.
The extended hours start a week from today, September 4th, and run through October 2nd. Immunizations will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. for children going back to school.
New York law has eliminated many of the exemptions once allowed for vaccinations, including the religious exemption. Immunizations are free for children 18 and under. Parents should bring a photo ID, any health insurance information they have and any letter they may have gotten from their child's school.
