A recent Rochester high school graduate was shot when gunfire broke out at a party for incoming freshmen at Spelman College in Atlanta.
Police say one of four people shot at the block party yesterday (Tues) was Elyse Spencer, a June graduate of the School of the Arts. Spencer interned at City Hall according to a post from Mayor Lovely Warren, who says she "touched many lives at City Hall and beyond."
The mayor says Spencer is recovering and her family is with her.
