Day two of the rape trial of former Webster teacher and high school coach Kali Watkins brought his accuser to the witness stand.
The alleged victim, who's now 17, testified about what happened to her in a high school locker room three years ago. She told the jury Watkins came into the locker room, sat next to her and forced himself on her.
The defense brought text messages into evidence from a group chat in which the witness addressed Watkins directly, wishing him a happy birthday after the alleged attack.
In opening statements on Friday, prosecutor Meredith Vacca said Watkins premediated his attack on a 14-year-old girl , assaulting her while they were alone with in the locker room.
