A chase at speeds topping 90 miles per hour on I-390 led to the arrest of four teenagers from Rochester and Medina.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says a deputy began following the car after an allegation that the license plates had been switched. The driver refused to pull over and took off, leading deputies and state troopers on a chase that ended near Exit Six when police used stop sticks to blow the car's tires. During the pursuit, the car allegedly swerved at and damaged a patrol car.
The teens were taken into custody and all were found to be juveniles, ranging from 14-to-16. Their names are being withheld due to their age. The driver turnd out to be wantred by the Office of Children and Family Services, one of the other teens was wanted by the Rochester Police Department and another was a missing person being sought by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
The driver faces charges including unlawful flight, four counts of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and driving without a license. Deputies are investigating the ownership of the car, and more charges are possible.
