A man accused of driving drunk is facing charges in connection with a two vehicle crash in Chili.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says Timothy Bernard was driving westbound on Chili Avenue when he struck another vehicle that was stopped and waiting to turn left into the Byrne Dairy. The driver and front seat passenger of the vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, the driver’s injuries became more critical and serious. Bernard was treated for his injuries and was arrested and charged with DWI and Vehicular Assault.
