Two Of Four Arrested, Charged In Hillside Escape And Car Theft

Four teenagers who escaped from the Hillside Children's Center in Hopewell with a stolen car have been found, and two of them have been charged.

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Nicole Durkee and two other teens assaulted a staff member at Hillside and tried to steal her car keys.

They ran from the facility, and Durkee later stole a car from a nearby home.

She drove the juveniles and 17-year-old Michael Lloyd to Rochester. Lloyd was found in Greece several days later and arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and being a passenger in a stolen car. Durkee was found last week on Lime Street in Rochester and arrested.

Both Durkee and Lloyd are being held on bail.
